I was once a denizen of this fine forum, years ago. Sergei was kind enough to help me purchase a fine Australian eight foot whip and instructions on how to get started. I had some experience as a child growing up next door to Roland Meyers who was known as Whip Wilson in the movies, but that had bee...

A belated welcome to you billy!! BTW-I have a lambtouch Wested, and IMHO-I think it's a bit on the thin side (not that there's anything wrong with that). I ordered my son a New Cow jacket last Christmas and every time I see it I wish that I had ordered that one (it's thicker and, of course, heavier)...

I think he has a good idea there, and he has done some good work, but I get the impression that he wants to take all the credit. I would think that he would at least pay lip service to to Indygear, and the folks that have put in so much time and effort on the grail diary, and other IJ research. Indi...

Thanks Schwammy! And this illusion certainly does prove it. I printed this illusion on an Epson Stylus Photo 820. I then cut out square A and placed it along side square B in an effort to disprove the statement that square A was the same color as square B. You can imagine my consternation dissoving ...

My advice is to talk to Sergei. Price range looms large when considering this equation, and if you were to PM him with that magic number, I'm sure he could point you in the right direction. You probably have already gathered that he is a virtual warehouse of knowledge concerning the whip. IMHO there...

I Agree!
I agree that a black Wested and grey Fed would look great. Don't know why I haven't thought of that myself. That would be a great spin on the Indy look. Even better with with a pair of grey pants and black Aldens. One could carry that out quite far with a grey web belt, and dyed grey bag with a blac...

Congratulations to you! I have an eight foot JS "Indy" and a 4' "Li'l Indy" (don't know who made the 4' one) and couldn't be happier with them. In fact, I gaze upon them now, in all of their radiant glory.

Whipwarrior- That has to be one of the best looking fedoras I've seen to date! Don't Forget...
Don't forget to ask for a personalized leather name tag. I think they will put it wherever you want, but it looks really good right above the inside pocket. It is leather with gold letters, and can have your name, or your COW name, or whatever you want on it.
