I ordered my son a New Cow jacket last Christmas and every time I see it I wish that I had ordered that one (it's thicker and, of course, heavier)...

My advice is to talk to Sergei. Price range looms large when considering this equation, and if you were to PM him with that magic number, I'm sure he could point you in the right direction. I agree that a black Wested and grey Fed would look great. Don't know why I haven't thought of that myself. That would be a great spin on the Indy look. I do want a heavier leather, just like the feel of a heavier , durable hide.. Darrell I'm with you on that one! I've got the lambtouch Wested, and it's a work of art, but just too lightweight for me. I'll keep it for a warm weather jacket, but hopefully I'll have a new cowhide soon. Indiana Philip

Congratulations to you! I have an eight foot JS "Indy" and a 4' "Li'l Indy" (don't know who made the 4' one) and couldn't be happier with them. In fact, I gaze upon them now, in all of their radiant glory.

My Wested

I have the lambtouch Wested, it is quite lightweight, sturdy, and very well made. I've been really happy with it, and would recommend it without hesitation.

Don't Forget...

Don't forget to ask for a personalized leather name tag. I think they will put it wherever you want, but it looks really good right above the inside pocket. It is leather with gold letters, and can have your name, or your COW name, or whatever you want on it.
