My sister in law has a fitted leather jacket, with pocket flaps and side straps. It had some extra belting detail, but definitely Indy inspired. She didn't see the resemblance.

Like how they imply Indy has one jacket despite pointing out the differences between film jackets? Or they say the Destiny jacket is the Raiders jacket, after pointing out how it was different than the Raiders jacket? The way I read that, LFL is saying that in universe Indy only had one jacket (whi...

Don't see why they would need permission if they removed the logo. Lucasfilm bought the bags and can do whatever they want with them. If you ask permission then you don't need to remove logos. Its not even legally required, just a CYA, just in case. In TV its mostly to avoid accidentally advertising...

I've been looking for other options as well. I'm considering the Mercury 9211DC, but haven't bought it yet. I ordered one inspired by this thread. It came today, and it's a great looking knife and could totally pass for Indy's. My one reservations is: it's kinda big. I was imagining a pocket knife,...

Are there any "close enough" modern fountain pens that convey the Indy film look? Ideally for less than several hundred dollars? One of my daily drivers is the Wing Sung 601. It's a modern clone of the Parker 51 vacumatic, a pen made from 1941 to 1947. And I have to say, replacing the dia...

I've been building a fountain pen collection over the past year. Currently I'm working on a representative collection of late 30's Sheaffer Balances. I'd like to point out that the Conway Stewart 36 makes a good stand in for the 58. It's a lower priced pen. The main cosmetic difference is the cap je...

A size smaller is just that, no foam involved. But as was said earlier, they fit snugger after bashing and seem to shink more after that. My Fed 4 that I got in October was loose out of the box, bashing and the foam made it fit and I'm already to the point where I need to take some of the foam out.
