My sister in law has a fitted leather jacket, with pocket flaps and side straps. It had some extra belting detail, but definitely Indy inspired. She didn't see the resemblance.

Don't see why they would need permission if they removed the logo. Lucasfilm bought the bags and can do whatever they want with them. If you ask permission then you don't need to remove logos. Its not even legally required, just a CYA, just in case. In TV its mostly to avoid accidentally advertising...

This started out life as a Wallpaper Paste Brush, cut it down and had to dye the bristles, still not dark enough yet.
Final dimensions are 3 5/8" x 7/8" x 1 3/8", with 3 1/4" bristles.

diameter of the lens housings is 2.5 inches. lenses themselves look to be 2 inches. the length of the binoculars fully closed is 6 3/16 inches. never have figured out how to recover these things with leather.

A size smaller is just that, no foam involved. But as was said earlier, they fit snugger after bashing and seem to shink more after that. My Fed 4 that I got in October was loose out of the box, bashing and the foam made it fit and I'm already to the point where I need to take some of the foam out.

I've got a Wested, and I think my straps are shorter, but I the stick out problem also. What I did was take a bit of the excess black elastic from my grail diary and put a loop through with the buckles. It's a belt loop and it holds everything flat. Not screen accurate but it keeps everthing neat.

lightning do you have a better pic than that ( closer). That's the size of the image from the screen capture, any bigger just gets blurrier. Using the magnifing glass in the DVD software yielded better results than using photoshop to blow it up, but you can't get screen caps of enlargements. Anyway...

VP: I think the size difference in the 3rd picture is a combination of the fact that mine is a close up shot and the original is taken from a distance, and that I have narrower fingers than Harrison Ford so that I can never cover as much space on the body as him.
