Re: First Time Experiences Wearing Your Indy Gear
I wear a green canvas Aussi walkabout hat and a black or green M65 field jacket I get called Indy. (go figure) I've also added a Shemagh scarf as a regular accessory since playing Uncharted 3. Yeah I get stares or cat calls but I was raised never to follow trends so I wear what I like whether others...

Re: RAIDERS and TOD GAS MASK BAG ?
The bag thread pinned at the top of the page has a few photos of how it was originally worn. http://www.indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=37699 I also noticed it yesterday while watching Victory at Sea showing the troops on Gibraltar. However it is seen slung at side in the movie Battle of B...

Thanks.
I've had it a few years but it's only seen some action for a few months this summer while I was walking to and from work.

I just got one from them (WPG) that is in mint condition, looks brand new, just needs a little cleaning from dust on the face. It's a MK VII H&S 1942. Also got the strap that is a dark brown with silver buckle. I also have one of their reproductions. Edit, added pix. http://i7.photobucket.com/al...

Re: Sources for safari shirts?
Should be on sale till Saturday.
New sales set on Sunday.
The original post on the shirt I believe was posted in September so they have had them for a while.
I usually don't get over to that part of the store since I work in the warehouse at the opposite end of the store.

Re: Sources for safari shirts?
I was looking through this thread yesterday an noticed the shirt at Target.
After work I went over to the Mens department (I work at Target) and found the shirt in 5 colors and as a bonus it's on sale for $20.
Colors: Dark Blue. Black, Khaki, Burgundy and Grey.
Nice light weight 100% cotton.

Hi ya, Been forever since I have been over here. As to the authenticity of the measurements of the bag pattern I made, those dimentions where given to me by another board member a few years ago. So weather or not they are 100% accurate, I can't say. But I am glad some of you are using it to make you...

Hi Guy's, Thanks for the info and offers but I have the web belt, I'm looking for the leather one. The elusive Kenny (Elvis Trooper) said he's seen them and will pick one up the next time he gets a chance. He lives near by so it's not an issue. Jerry, No worries. Very good comparison pix btw....

... Nothing personal to all you Star Wars fans, but honestly, how many times would you actually be able to wear that in public? At best, once a year at a Halloween costume party? Just to throw another log on the fire. Most here are looking for the exact look of a picture or film still that has been processed to h$ll and back again. I had done a post a few weeks ago on finding the Stanleys as an alternative Glove, then OBIKenny found some WL1130's around the block from my house at the Raley's Grocery store. All the stores in town got rid of their Wells-Lamont gloves almost over night. Everyone now carries Stanley or some other ...
