New and First Wested Finally arrived! Pics update

Post by RedburnIV »

Wow, how to begin. This jacket is incredible, absolutely incredible and yes it is my first Wested. I've never been knowledgable about the jackets but I'm very happy with this, I think the color is great and the feel and the smell of the british leather is amazing. I'll try to get pics, but with a webcame they dont come out too good.

I ordered a Raiders Authentic Lambskin. I'll get pics soon, THANKS Peter!

I have pictures but I am un-able to upload them to my website, would somebody be kind enough to help me out? Thanks!

Regards, Dan

That's Great!
Congradulations!!!

I just found out Mine (first one also) arrived at My friends house today.

But I'll have to wait a week or so to make the 2.5 hour trip to the B.A. to pick it up.

At least I know it's here. :D :D :D

Can hardly wait to start wearing it.

Cheers

Congratulations!
I know you're ecstatic to finally have a jacket to wear, as I was recently. May you have many good times in it in the future.

WOW... IT'S ABOUT TIME!

Hope it's not too hot when we see you at Gettysburg in July to see you wear it.

Neos.

Congrats... Finally! I'm really happy for you. Now you won't have to be envious at the other jackets next summit!

Wear it in good health.

And Division 6, you may want to have your friend take your's out of the Wested plastic bag if it'll be a couple of weeks before you get it. Peter ships them in bags to help protect them, but the jackets shouldn't sit like this for an extended period of time.

Seems like alot of people are getting their Westeds. My first wested is still in customs. Once it finally gets here im going to try and post some pics. Neo post some pics so I can envy yours until mine gets here. Also how long did yours stay in customs limbo?

Thanks,

If I recall, they should not sit in the bag for an extended period of time. But I think, from the tone of your post, that is what you really meant to say. If not, please correct me. I just don't want any new Wested customers to receive the jacket at the door with such great anticipation, and then watch the bag for the next week or two as it sits up on the mantle, tenderizing.

Cheers,

I.J.

Mike
I'll second this. What do Toys, Wives, Whiskey and IndyGear all have in common?

They should never be left at home or put on display, they should be taken out and enjoyed!

Thank you again Zohar. The wested is a Authentic Lambskin new Raiders pattern. I wanted it loose fitting, and I ordered it an inch or so longer than usual. I ordered all cotton body. The fit is unbelievable and I was amazed on how light wieght it is, I began to worry once I saw how small the box is, I was thinking to myself "Theres no way something in a box that small is going to fit me." and surprise surprise, it fits great! If you anybody wants to know anything or has questions just ask. Thanks!

A good looking Raider's jacket indeed! :D

I hope that you can make it to Gettysburg in early July to check out the authentic lamb! I know that it might be kinda hot in July for a jacket, lol, so I understand if we don't have another summit at Gettysburg in July. Keep in touch n' take care! And, congrats again for finally getting your jacket! :D

 Yep, I meant to say not. Chalk another one up to the brain thinking faster than the fingers can type.

Neos, glad you're enjoying the jacket, but I agree with MK, those pics make me feel like I need glasses... some decent shots will have to be taken in July!
