Thanks, There were no special specs. It's 8 feet, 12 plait cow-/calfhide. I could select from several colors, but I went with the saddletan. I got a fantastic mail today from Gio. My new whip is finished and will soon be in the mail. Here's some pictures of my new baby :-) it's 8 feet, 12 plait, cow-hide, color is saddle tan and sounds like a gunshot Im told :-) Oh boy, Im looking forward cracking it. Well, I cut the stitches a long time ago on my original W&G MKVII and I don't see what the fuss is about. The original strap can be put back on any day so good that even a militaria collector wont notice it was part of an Indygear collection :-)

I have the authentic lamb jacket. It's very nice and a very light jacket to wear as well. Goat is also a nice jacket and I think more durable than lamb, but the lamb can still take some beating on your adventures.
