....but you may see an AB on a well known star. Yep, I am making one in beaver for the guy. Out of fear of him canceling the order, I cannot say who it is. And out of common courtesy, mostly. Now I have to buy the National Enquirer to watch for photos!! It is simply amazing what making Indy fedoras and being number one in the indy fedora search on MSN will do for you!! Now, if I can just get listed on Google!! What I found strange is he wanted me not to give out his head size!!! Yes, sir, anything you say. I will frame the paypal printout!! So, if you want to join in the fun, watch out for an AB on a star's head. If you spot it, I will have to say, yes, and I think this will not be a problem for me to do so. Oh, he paid the full price!! At first, I figure that Depp wasn't into an Indy style fed, but not giving out his head size kinda goes with the odd and unpredictable man. But then if it is Depp, what is he doing browsing for an Indy fed?Mattdeckard wrote:Depp?
MY second guess is Lucas. What goes great with flannel? A fed, of course
Speilberg and Ford, while both famous won't make their way into tabloids. Ford won't until he films another hit and Speilberg usually just shows up only when filming.

He got no special treatment!! The current lag period is around 2 weeks, after I get what I have in now, out of the door. So, if you ordered a hat and it has been over two weeks since you placed the order, fear not. It will be there soon. I have had a bit of a backup in hats. People, for some reason order in spurts. When that happens, it takes a bit longer to get them out. FedoraIt better not get on the block before mine!!

I doubt it. Hawass is always trying really hard to distance himself as an archaeologist from Indiana Jones, so I don't think he'd be very eager to order from a hatmaker whose claim to fame is making the best Indy hat currently in existence.Nicht Storen wrote:I'm going in a different direction. Dr. Hawass needs a new lid. Possibly Mr. Bernstein as well. I guess we'll never see them in the tabloids so maybe that is the wrong direction.
If I were a betting man, I'd say Depp, although it could be almost anybody. There's alot of stars out there. :junior: -IJ

Okay, I am thoroughly confused. My first thought was Josh Bernstein, but he probably wouldn't be in the tabloids. Then I thought maybe it was someone involved in the production of Indy IV, possibly scouting out a source for the hats for the new movie. But then Fedora made the comment that it may not be an Indy fedora, so that would rule that out. So, who knows? (except for Steve)
Anyway, I think it is really cool, no matter who it turns out to be. I hope it is a first step towards Steve making the hats for Indy IV. He gets my vote.

Where's my sunglasses? Oh, let's do lunch sometimes. Nope, I am just a simple Indy fan. You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy. Heck, he is just another mortal, a lucky mortal, I might add. Nothing more. I will say, if it had been anyone remotely linked to the Indy films, I would have given the hat to him. Since, he is not hooked up(to my knowledge) with my favorite character, I could care less. That is the truth. Kinda, sorta. Fedoraturn Hollywood-famous on us.

Yeah, when he said tabloid, that immediately made me think of Pitt. Depp owned/owns the club that River Phoenix died outside of, so that's sort of an Indy link but a dead link at that (no pun intended). Man if Pitt or Depp, I gotta say Wow...I used to have their pics hanging in my room (Depp when I was in junior high and Pitt in college). We know it's not Ford. The other tabloid guesses would be Russell Crowe and Jude Law. I could see Jude with a fedora, but I'm not sure if I'd see Crowe out sporting one in public.Indiana_Tone wrote:Hmm. Brad Pitt just mentioned he wanted one. Didn't realize he was going to order so soon.
Fedora, I take it the buyer doesn't come to COW. Did he just do a search on the internet and stumble upon you? Or was he recommended by someone to you?
