Yeah, for awhile I was trying to see how I'd look with long hair, but it didn't really work out, so I got it cut. I'm glad it turned out good Thank you.
Great hat, very well shaped and very nice shoulder bag too, perfectly in the indy stile i think.
I ordered a pure rabbit too, when Fedora will send me my hat i will post pics
Great pics Weaver, and there is nothing wrong with that shirt. Blue is a fine color. You did a very nice job with the bash and I like the slightly distressed look of the hat with your shoulder bag, which is cool as well.
Is that bag a Barbour? It looks like one, but the hat is blocking where the label should be. It looks quite a bit like the bag that Michael Palin carried in his BBC and PBs series "Michael Palin's Hemingway Adventure."

No, it's a Filson. I've had the same bag for a couple of years. They're really sturdy pieces of gear. Mine still looks almost new, and Weaver's had his for a lot longer. I've been able to cram enough stuff into it that it was almost too heavy to carry on one shoulder comfortably.

Cheers!
Ah, Filson: equally hardy and of equal high quality as Barbour. You have chosen wisely.
Thanks for the nice comments guys and Canyon! I wasn't really in Indy gear that day. I guess you could call it "Weaver Gear!"
Baggers, you beat me too it! Yup Hemingway, its a Filson. I recieved it as a gift about 8 years ago. Like Baggers said the bags are nearly bomb proof and will definitely carry more than your shoulder can. Its not screen accurate, but I have no intentions of replacing it with a MKVII.
IndyJens, you can get then from David Morgan or directly from Filson. They're expensive, but worth every cent. They are really a once in a lifetime purchase. David Morgan Filson
But David Morgan carries most of the Filson luggage range and their prices are always a few bucks less than Filson itself. Their shipping is also very reasonable if you're in the U.S. http://www.davidmorgan.com/proddetail.h ... quence=432
You can tell her that it is, if you like, so that you will look like less of a nut in comparison.
Actually, that is not my closet, it is the back room of the hat store that I work at, as those pics were taken with a co worker's camera phone on my break that day.
So, that's the rabbit version, eh? How does the felt feel to the touch? Responsive? I like the turn you've got going on there, and how you've brought the apex of the pinch down far enough to achieve the camel humps in the front. Good show.

Regards,
Thank you Strider, i will work on it a lot more in these days.
ABout the feeling ... dont know i have no other meters of comparison but i can say it's nice to touch
I remember that first picture of your Adventurebilt from way back when. It was one of the shots that made me want an Adventurebilt of my own. That hat looks flat out amazing. The crown so immaculate, perfect high pinch and camel humps on the top, and the brim is so cairo it's not even funny. WOW. That's all I have to say.

Thanks Strider. Fedora (Steve) styled that and shipped it to me as is. He did an amazing job. And that block is darn near perfect!
Strider yours looks awesome too. It's nice to see them on their owners noggin. When they are on a table they never quite look the same (As Michaelson once pointed out. "The proverbial table shots")
Mine looks completely different on a table or the living room TV. (It's a 38" tube hat rack)
I am always so happy to see more and more AB hats. I have been away from the site for a while.
Hey all, keep those pics coming!

HemJ, we need another get together. I have to see your AB and the rest of the guys. Well Dalexs, he's another story!
RK, IndianaFist, and Webley are quite the scoundrels too!

P.S I'll be in Waltham next week!
IndianaFist is MIA. Sadly. I'm sure he'll catch up with me as soon as he can.
If you're in Waltham, you should stop by my office. Try to make it around lunch, if you can.
Just received my Beaver Fedora from AB.
It is a magnificent hat; I had some initial concerns regarding the length of the crown.
It was also a little tight, however, on "Fedora's" expert advice and instructions, I have been carefully stretching the headband.
NOTE: :!: I did not know it came with a gold outline graphic of the Staff of Ra Headpiece inside the crown .
That is a real touch of class, "Fedora" !
