I would have to say a Todd's custom. I think you get the most bang for your buck. I own one in lambskin and not only is it the most SA jacket I have seen or owned but it holds up really well. I wear mine while working in a warehouse all the time.

Quite honestly, I like the squeak. If I remember correctly I think you can hear Indy's jacket squeaking in ROLA during the scene in the Imam's house. So see, the squeak is screen accurate!

I just used the drop down fill in the blanks for mine and the result was the best fitting jacket I've ever received from Wested.

I would definitely be interested in a jacket made of this leather. If you throw Holt's specs into the mix I think you would have a jacket that would be hard to beat in the SA category.

Holt, mine fits comfortably in the arms; however, I have a feeling that you may want the extra inch since you have larger biceps.

Yeah, I'll try and get some up this week. I have a 42 chest and that is what I ordered. Fits great on me, just like the film. I have long arms so ordered 25 3/4" sleeves and they are just fine. Hope this helps.

Yeah, it's a pretty slim fit. If you want it to fit like the film order your normal size. If you plan on wearing a sweater or hoodie, etc. I would size up.

Platon, the pants are the old MBA Costumes pants. I had Noel custom make me a pair to my specs. Yojimbo, Todd still offers the prewashed lamb, I just wanted a regular "new" finish lambskin. The jacket I have now is actually quite dark in normal lighting. The prewashed lamb is a great skin....

Rundquist, I couldn't agree with you more. Starting with the Last Crusade and then obviously with the most recent debacle, the Indy films lost the feel of the serial flicks of the 30's and 40's and resorted to the feel of the more "campy" sci-fi and horror films of the 50's. IMHO

IMHO opinion you cant go wrong with a Todd's custom. I think it's a pretty substantial jacket and to me it feels a little heavier than my Wested authentic lamb. I own one of Todd's customs in the washed lamb also and all I can say is it's the best Raiders jacket I have owned PERIOD. Everything is right about it. Yes the price is a little high but would you rather spend $500 and get the correct thing or spend thousands trying to get close to the right thing?

I've had an Optimo for the past 4 1/2 years and I absolutely love it. Best I've seen so far. I have never seen an AB in person to be able to compare the two.

I have owned both. I still own a NH Raiders and a NH Temple of Doom shirt. I sold my Wested. Personally, I like the fit and look of Noel's shirts. They just "look right."
