Re: R.I.P Peter Botwright
Not here very often, but just got to seeing this today and I was so sorry to read. Deepest condolences to Peter's family and friends. I only spoke with Peter over the phone having had the priveledge of having 3 custom jackets made by Peter over the years. I had always hoped to travel abroad and stop...

Re: Todd's Jacket Owner's Thread
Love Todd's jackets. Your Dad's jacket looks great! I too thought they were more costume jackets initially, but it's my go to spring and fall jacket in the northeast. Now as it looks as though they may be tough to get, I wonder if I should let up on the regular use, as I would be disapointed to wear...

Screen accurate, and offer the insulated option. My only problem with your jacket is I am limited when I can wear it due to weather.

On a lighter note...something good has in fact come from this thread. This has saved me a ton of time, I had no idea the Smithsonian had gotten rid of the Indy display. I was planning to go back there with my family soon, and my obsessive compulsive tendencies would have had me insisting where I had...

Re: what's wrong with the Expedition?
Overall look of the jacket aside..Holt's right from what I can tell about the sleeve. It's just the pattern. It is what it is. I'm sure it fits some people differently due to arm size. It looks like it's just the cut of the sleeve, the excess material has no where to go and drapes like that. I did a...

my sleeve elbow lining ripped My Sleeves both ripped after owning it for one week, and only wearing it a couple of times. I love the leather and the jacket, but I was quite upset about this lining. I really do not like the the nylon - I am wishing I had tried harder to get Wested to use cotton. I h...

Re: does anyone <else> notice?
Funny this should come up as I was taken aback for the first time regarding this just last week. In Toys'R'Us a guy started humming the Raiders theme as I walked past him wearing my Wested Horse with no other Indy gear. I exchanged a smile. Being in customer service I see a LOT of people and often s...

My boots just arrived also. My initial impression is a great value. Below are some pictures next to my nine year old Aldens. The color on both is darker in person, more brown. It's probably my camera pushing the color lighter. They seem very comfortable. The leather is soft, very similar to my broke...

What's up with wanting jackets people can't zip up? If it's a costume you want , ok, but if it's something you plan on having and wearing for a few years you need an extra inch or so. Raider, not necessarily. We are all in different climates. I have different jackets for different seasons. While I ...

Based on the picture from the back I would think you would be swimming in a larger size, the back panel looks a little big as is, any bigger would be too much. I too have no plans to zip this up when worn. I can zip mine up OK, ...

I am sure they will be going out in sequence of when they were ordered as they are all custom (not OTR/standard).
