I noticed that yesterday. Maybe Mr. Coyle himself can give us a projected price and release date.

I wonder if they'll be made my Motor Cowboy like the Magnoli boots or if they'll be Aldens? Interesting.

A revamp on his site - very nice! Lokks like he'll be doing his whip in "CS Brown", too. I should have waited  Can't wait to learn more about the boots.

My feelings exactly.

Now all Todd needs to do is give us SA pants and he could potentially become our "one stop Indygear....something" I dunno. Anyway....very interesting news.

I bet those boots might be fairly priced as any Todd’s product, but I wonder if they will hold real life outdoor usage, but if Todd says they might survive this, I’m on! :D

I was thinking the same thing.

he has decent stuff for good prices.

I got (among other things) a "second-grade" bag strap from him for $10.00 that is far and away better in every way than a $30.00 strap (that I need to return).

I have my Aldens already, but this is good news regardless!

This is good news. I have some "close-enoughs" but wouldn't mind picking up a pair of these if the price and quality meet at a good point.

I noticed on the indygear main site that Todd's is listed as a vendor of pants, even though that's not currently the case.

Hello to all,

The boots are on the boat. As soon as they arrive, of course there will be full details. Please don't e-mail for projected dates and pricing. We don't know what the freight will cost until they are here. But I can tell you they are commercial quality made by a factory that makes many popular shoe brands. The price will be between $50 and $100 per pair. Even sizes only. They will be very, very, very, very similar to Aldens but in a darker brown color. The materials will be of equal quality.

My purpose in life is to provide fans with the best reproductions at reasonable prices. BEST is a subjective term, of course, but by BEST I mean the most like the original wardrobe item as possible. Unless you HAVE the original wardrobe item, that is a matter of speculation, but over the years I have had the chance to eventually see many of the original wardrobe items I replicate, only to discover that my "interpretation" of the item was identical to the real thing.

As far as pants, I have lots of goodies in the pipeline, but I have learned not to announce things prematurely.

Finally a reasonable price for Indy shoes. You do have a knack for sniffing out manufacturing bargains and passing along the savings to customers. \:D/

Oh I can't wait for these boots. I'm just not ready to dump $320 on a pair of Aldens and wait 6 months and maybe get a shotty pair of boots.
This sounds great.

I got mine from Schmidty, paid less, waited less (even less than Schmidty quoted), and quality (so far) is as expected...

I will likley get a pair of Todd's to essentially 'destroy' for the sake of "screen acuracy", but I love the real Aldens. VERY comfortable- in fact, today I'm wearing my old, broken-in shoes and the new Aldens are more confortable!

Maybe I should just keep getting Aldens from now on! :D

I'll definitely get a pair of Todd's to go along with my Rockport Farnums which are okay but overall just a dressy boot.

If Todd's boots look as good as the rest of the gear he offers I will probably have to order them. I hope they end up being on the lower end of the $50.00- $100.00 range quoted though. I have Rockport Farnums in the natural tan finish that I paid $70.00 for and have yet to wear them out of the house and only worn them for a few picture sessions.

This is one I'm really looking forward to as I can't see spending so much on Aldens.

I do hope the sizes favor a wide or at least "normal" foot rather than run too narrow, however.

:o

I haven't had the money lately to buy any new gear or even think about it. To save myself the heartache I've tried to avoid this section. So I've been out of the loop for some time in regards to what Todd's been up to.

These new boots sound awesome. Even though I have a pair of J Crew boots that are brand new I'd definitely spring for a pair of Todd's Indy boots IF they're going to be between $50 to $100. :D

Now some of this stuff like the boots and gun aren't some "limited time offer" type of deal are they? Because there's no way I'll have the money any time soon to purchase any of this stuff... :?

Heck, I still want one of his shirts!

If he started doing pants that would pretty much complete the full Indy gear costume. You could then plunk down a big wad of cash all in one discount wallop with a one stop shop, "Instant Indy Starter Costume".

That may be the plan...

I just got my gun belt and holster and I am quite pleased with them.

No pics; I have my large frame Colt 357 in the holster now to form it...

I just darkened my Alden's with Pecard's and I really love these boots now. I'm actually worried about scuffing them. Maybe I'll pick up a pair of Todd's to distress.

$185 is too close to Shoemart's irregular price. I bought a pair there for $200 and they were perfect except for one of the speed laces was bent a little. I bent it back and it was good as new. I would say $100. No more than $125.
