I just received my first Wested Raiders jacket (lamb) and I couldn't be happier. Definitely my favorite of any of the jackets I have owned.

FInally got my US Wings to shrink!

I finally got my US Wings Indy jacket to shrink. I soaked it in hot water, put it through a spin cycle, folded it up, stuck it into a pillow case and dried for 30 minutes on high heat. US Wings Indy SHirt...

I think G-MANN was just throwing the info out there for us that do not fancy the 65% polyester Cabela shirt. The Cabela is nice but hot as #### in warmer weather. The US Wings is 100% cotton so it does breath better than the Cabela shirt. And seeing that LL Bean changed the color of their 100% cotto...

Yes Rusty they can be cut down. But the whole jacket is a touch too big. I was hoping to shrink the whole thing. PErhaps I can just go have it taylored. :?:

US WWII Shirts...

They are cut large. So keep that in mind when you buy one online. I usually wear a 16.5 X 33 but can easily fit in a 15.5. Just something to keep in mind. 40's clothing was not baggy like the kiddies wear today. :D

I agree, the H&M sirt is not a very good Indy shirt. I hit the H&M in Orland Park, IL yesterday and saw the shirt first hand. I did pick up a nice linen shirt but it's nothing like an Indy shirt.

Shirt Fit

I would suggest you have any shirt you buy taylored to fit better. We are of all shapes and sizes and a standard S, M, L, XL just doesn't work. Besides...every company's size structure is different. There is no "standard" here in the US for clothes sizing.
