Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
This is VERY good news!
If Azuma is offering these fine & well-crafted shirts in 2011, then I'm definitely buying... they look TOO good to pass up!
And Croft, I couldn't agree more with Tundrarider... you look GREAT, my friend! And that shirt looks fantastic in that photo.

If you like Azuma's Last Crusade shirt then you would love his TOD shirt.
I'm in for a raiders shirt when he's ready to roll.

I belive that Azuma does shirts as a "run".bartes123 wrote:Hello Gents, where can i find the Azuma's offert??
They are not available at anytime on through a website like a Penman hat or a Wested jacket.

So I should write directly to user "Azuma"?

Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
Thank you guys. I am glad you like our Indy shirts.
We had two batches of LC shirts made in 2009, however, the shirts kinda caused me some family issues, as I got no place to store them. The only place I could put the shirts was my living room, and my lovely wife was really unhappy about it.
After LC shirts sold out, me and my partner decided not to make Indy shirts in batches and keep them in inventory, therefore, when we conduct ToD shirts run, we used interests check methods. We only made enough shirts for those who participated in interests check, so that we don't need space to keep them, and we don't have to put too much money into the shirts production.
Anyway, we will conduct a new run soon, and will make an announcement at COW for sure. Thank you again for your support.
Best regards,
Azuma

Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
Azuma...
I'm pretty sure that my house is more than open enough for you to store the unused shirts in? I'm also sure you could work out a way to cover all costs!
Heh...It's a shame, but since family is more important than work, I can understand...
And in all seriousness, my livingroom is about 5000 shirts wide...Just in case you're interested in a Japanese "storage facility"!
I'd be interested in seeing one of the new run as well... And more than interested in a "Raiders" offering too...
All the best..

Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
fifthchamber,
A storage facility in Tokyo propbaly cost three times more than in Taipei, ha ha~
Raiders shirt is very possible to be our next run. We have farbic with new color for Raiders. But I still have more than 200 yards of the LC/ToD fabric at home, kinda want to get the investment covered first...

Any update concerning the chances of the "Temple of Doom" and/or "Last Crusade" shirts in size xl or xxl?

Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
Well count me in for a TOD shirt. That should help get rid of that existing material. What was the cost of the shirts when you last ran them?
Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
LC batches was USD55 each. TOD run was USD58 each (it was a very small run, so the cost is higher). New run will be depends on: (1)Which version of Indy shirt will be made. (2)USD exchange rate.
(1) If Raiders shirt is determined as our Indy shirt for the next run, then the price will be higher. It is because I will only get enough fabric to cover the run, and will use the already available fabric found in the market, that means the cost of fabric per yard will be higher. I am not going to buy a thousand yards of fabric in order to get it custom dyed this time.
(2) The exchange rate for USD has dropped between 9.5% to 10% since last quarter. It is predicted that the value of USD will get lower.
Final price will be determined when we start conducting the run.
Best regards,
Azuma

Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
Well if you end up doing a Raiders, and you can do the same size as my TOD, and if the price is doable, you can probably put me down for two.
Love your work.

Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
Azuma,
If you do a "Raiders" I'm down for at least one.. Perhaps two depending on the timing... Although, that's probably the same if you do a "Temple" or another "Crusade" actually....
I'd love one...

Raiders for me too! Small or medium! I would love a nice, fitted Raiders shirt, that I can tuck in with no shirt balloon.

Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
I'd be down definately for a TOD possibly in small, depending on the cut of the shirt I sometimes rock a medium. I currently only own the Adventurebilt shirt which is essentially my definitive Raiders shirt and won't need another in the Raiders style, so hopefully I can snag a TOD.

Any word on the Raiders run? I'm wondering does Azuma make XL? Count me in for a XL!
Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
Not ready for taking orders on Raiders shirts yet... Still waiting for studio's confirmed schedule. They are pretty busy this year.

Re: Azuma's TOD shirt
I'm clear on the fact that you're not quite ready to go on his yet, Azuma...
but I'd be down for 2 Raiders and 2 Last Crusade's (Size Large, I'm guessing) once you're ready to do this...
(Think he's feeling the pressure yet, fellas?)

Yep..... I need say nothing as I love my LC and TOD shirts.
But I'm down for two Raiders in my TOD sizing if possible
Croft
Oh and Mitch, love your new avatar. You could play Dekard easily in a re-make.

Thanks Croft... I'm glad you like the avatar... but humbled by your compliment, my friend.
But I don't think (or PREFER not to think) that a re-make is ever likely to happen...
I mean, Hollywood has nothing but respect (and a "hands OFF" policy) when it comes to the Classics...
Right, Hollywood?
Uh...
Hollywood?
