If you had a hand ejector in its original .455 and a M1917 DA45. Both the same in terms of year of make, serial number, original finish and parts etc. Which one would be worth more?

I’m leaning very much towards Peters Bros since we are both in Texas. I’d forgotten Garrison, that’s a great idea too!

I’m in no hurry also, I was just curious what was out there since I’ve been out of the game for a while. Hopefully John gets better and I can just send it to him for a full refurbishment. However, if I found a hatter that I liked I’d be open to getting it done with them.

John is out of commission, he would be my first choice since the hat in question is a Steve Delk Adventurebilt KOTCS made from the screen used run of felt. I’m holding off on a reblock until John returns. But I need to get the brim re flanged, and the hat cleaned,

Re: Sutro Ellington Cognac boots
So they came in, and I've been wearing them for a week. Here is my review. First off, I was amazed at how light they are. I mean super lightweight. Like a pair of sneakers. They are also very comfortable. The leather is very soft and flexible. The thickness is on par with Alden's and Wolverine 1000 ...

As anyone here seen these or own a pair? I like that they don't have the raised moc toe stitching like wolverines or red wings. I also like that they don't have that funky shape like Thursday boots. Plus they have some tread on them. From my research I found that they're San Francisco designed, but ...

Large ended up being too big for me so I exchanged it for a medium. The jacket is beautiful!!! The leather is softer than a baby's behind. Gorgeous color, and ultra lightweight. It feels like virtually nothing compared to the weight of my old Wested DB lambskin. A note about sizing: I picked up Gora...

Well I ordered one. I'd been looking to order a new one has my ten year old wested DB lambskin crusade is falling apart (It's been through the ringer and then some). I have owned two of Todd's in the past few years I've enclosed pics of what will happen, It's best to keep it in a box and bring it out now and then, but the HJ is definitely a secondary hat, grab an AB or your HJ will look like this in no time. ht...
