Which is worth more?

Post by Indiana Cromeens »

If you had a hand ejector in its original .455 and a M1917 DA45. Both the same in terms of year of make, serial number, original finish and parts etc. Which one would be worth more?

If you lived in England, the .455. The US, the DA45.

To a collector of firearms who isn’t into shooting, the .455. If wanting a shooter, the .45.

I would say probably, for collectors especially, the .455 which was produced for the British military in WWI but in lesser numbers than the .45 which was issued to U.S. and British/Allies alike. :TOH:
