Re: Gray-scale Indy - General Gear

Guess that goes to show that if I let enough time pass my idea would be realized. One of the things I think of though, when the whole thing comes together, is that these colors don't lend themselves as well to being "beat-up" as the earth tones do. :-k But I think that's the point I ...

By the way, if no one has seen Chuck before I highly recommend it. It is one of my favorite shows on the air right now, and has a great vibe (though there have been one or two misses this season, get rid of Jeff and Lester already!).

Re: Indy style shirt on NBC's Chuck

That looks similar to the sears shirt talked about in other threads, I like it.

Doesn't seem to have seams to me, and like alot of the "military fashion" shirts, it has that little strip that goes over the top of the epaulets...I wonder where that particular feature came from?

I had one of the US Wings in Antique lamb...the look was good but I didn't quite like how heavy it was compared to other lambskins (of my Wested or other lambskin jackets I have handled). But, I can't wait to see how this project turns out. 8)

I love my Fed three, it is just "unindy" enough (if you get my meaning) to combine the best aspects of the regular stock of akubras (wide brims) and an indy fedora (stylishness).

The color almost reminds me of the Wrangler khakis I stumbled upon at Wal-Mart...there have been some threads on them in the past. They're okay, but I use them for my "distressed" wear. When I wear khakis, they are usuallly Blackhawk tactical pants (mostly because I get a huge discount on ...
