Found some gear in my closet! (LS, CS web belt)

Post by Bartram »

I was going through my closet and check out what I found: An old military web belt that is beat to death from use. I wore this thing decades ago as a boy scout but it's only now I realize what a dead ringer it is for the LC/CS Indy belt. And I've still got it. What a find!

Now I realize that this is not a very sexy piece of gear, like a mid-80'd HJ fedora or something like that, but I've got to tell somebody. There's just not a lot of folks around here that would share my glee. That said, I come to you all.
Thanks for being the people I can geek out with;)

I think it's a great find!!! It's amazing what you find stored away in a closet!

Great find. I found my webbelt in my own closet, too. :)

Actually it does.

I'm trimmer now than I was in high school, so it's even got that just-right "flopped over" look when I have it on.

If folks wanna see, I'll throw up some pics of it on.
It's even become a nice part of my non-gear wardrobe the last few days.
