Well, I don't wear it so much in the middle of Summer. ;-) But I wear it in frequent rotation with other jackets when it gets cold enough.

Since I am more of a night owl, I should have voted every night ;-)

Working primarily in the evening will make you shift your day: you will get up later and go to bed early in the morning ;-) That's why I even got to wear my jacket during the hottest days of summer :)

Yeah, weather is the factor that determines wear time for me as well.

I work nights too, so I wear mine every night if possible, during the day weather permitting, and in the summer when I need a fix I'll put it on, while in the house.

For me, it's obviously not a costume, so I just wear it like any other jacket...on colder days, however, I switch over to a peacoat.

As long as the weather permits, I tend to wear one of my Indy jackets instead of other options. Even when I only owned one, it quickly became my prefered jacket. The specific jacket depends on the weather, as well, since they vary in hide types. Their main competition is my almost-Indy Magnoli, which gets worn whenever cowhide is appropriate. It kind of counts, right? :[

I didn't place a vote at this time as I have only worn my two jackets for pictures so far. Once the weather turns cooler I am sure I will wear whatever jacket is best suited for the climate as often as possible.

Once it's cool enough, every day. ;-)

I just got my jacket in July. "This is a new experience for me."

Once we get back into some nice weather and cool night, I plan to sport my Leather often. More like everyday.

For mine, it's "every once in awhile". Sydney is similar to California in many ways and, honestly, there are even some winter days where a Wested horsehide is going to have me break out sweating if I wear it. Of course it DOES get cold sometimes, especially after sunset in winter, and the jacket's great for those times, but it's never an "every day' proposition for me.

Since it's still so hot where I'm at I'm only wearing it daily,inside, in the evening...where there's A/C ;-)

I plan to wear it outside everyday once the weather gets cool though.

Another vote for "when weather permits" here. My wife and I live in southern California, so it hasn't been anywhere near cool enough to wear my jacket yet. :(

I wear mine most days of the week. I ride a motorcycle to work so I have occasion to wear it more than I might normally wear an Indy jacket when it's hot out.

Imagine the recovery time if you had your jacket on your back and the healing powers of the grail in your hand! ;-) You're right though! It does seem that people heal faster when they are able to get into that positive state of mind!

In addition to my HH Wested, I have two front quarter horsehide Aero's that all deserve their turn in the rotation. Plus I guess there's the LL Bean goatskin, the B3 sheepskin, plus various others in various materials.

Jacket weather is just starting to creep in in the Northeast, so I'm looking forward to wearing them all a lot more.

Hi all,

I just got my first Indy jacket the other day...a Todd's standard. I figure I will be wearing it daily throughout October/November. Its the perfect jacket for cool days. When it gets too cold, I'll change over to one of my other (heavier) leather jackets.
