Re: 3D Printed Indy Revolver
Has anyone tried 3D printing an Indy gun or found good plans online? These are the best I've found on the web so far, I might give them a try on my brother's printer: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2921031 Interesting..... I actually just ordered this very same 3D-printed S&W from Thingverse...

:-k I just don't understand why this is such a big debate. BO has provided more info than he needs to. Just my 2 cents, but if I were an Indy hatter and sourced (and labbed) original ribbon--I wouldn't disclose the source, either. It's like giving the recipe to the secret sauce! Forget the "off the peg" sizing.
You're ordering a custom jacket!
This is a special, one-of-a-kind treasure.
Do the measuremenents. If in doubt, take the requirements to a seamstress and let them do it.

A real MK VII is dirt cheap.
CostumeBase is junk--get the real thing, bud.
To answer your question--you'd cut off the old strap and attach a new one, like we do on the MK VI.
But, just get a real MK VII. Todd got some in.
What Price Glory has them, too.

You could always make a stand. The easiest method is to grab one of those styrofoam balls from a craft store (one of the larger ones), buy a thick dowel from your local home center (Lowes or Home Depot), and a 1/2" thick piece of lumber (cut it so the weight is distributed evenly). Cut a hole i...

Yep, depending on style, material and company ordered from (so, what's new? ;) ) anywhere from $4 to $10 would have bought his jacket. Still a goodly sum during the Depression, especially when folks counted themselves lucky to make a dollar or less a day, so it represented a couple weeks wages. Reg...
