I have an OTR wested 42, and a bill kelso 44. They are very different fitting jackets. Especially since I don't think a 42 kelso would fit me very well. I got # 47 recently, will give full review later, will say I put pecards on it right away because the color was just too light for my tastes. It took care of the color, but altered the great feel of the leather! It feels like rubber!

Why doesn't the Bapty in the book match the in private hands Bapty ? They don't match, the grips are different, and I thought the stembridge had the broken grip? Thanks! Fine wool and very high grit sand paper. You can sand down the barrel ONCE, it's only plated in metal, it did take the instant blue, but I wish I found a better way to remove the orange paint...

I prefer the wood grips but they aren't the best replicas....

I've had this for a long time and recently upgraded the grips, re-blued the barrel tip, and decided to weather it. I am very happy with it and now look forward to darkening the holster I got from Cajunkraut who was a pleasure to communicate with! I couldn't live with the replacements with the Todds ...

Looking for Indy boots? For the price and accuracy it's todds! Now, they may not hold up with heavy use, so get vibram soles right away for everyday use.

For close enough long wear everyday use I love the red wings 952, no mock toe though.... And the toes thankfully lose that boxy shape!

After comparing them to my other boots, Michaelson, I should have listened to. I have to return them. I had size 11 with his older boots, my Redwings are a 10. I would say order the size you ordered before from him and he'll set you up?

I have a three bags and all three are different. I like the more brown color for look but i feel green is more SA. The thing I love about the green bag also is the more ornate or detailed snaps, instead of the flat plain ones.

I have one similar to the picture above. I have two others that do not have that style of snap buttons. I prefer the button that has a rim around it with detail, compared to the flat basic snap.

I have only one issue with the Joe Strain 10', at it's handle base... Where the wrist loop and the handle come together, it's not as accurate on screen of Raiders as the one you see sitting on the table at the Imam's house. The rest of it is very accurate except for that extra single loop of leather...

I would prefer a stronger thread. On my USwings I have actually sanded the thread in the process of aging the jacket and they hold up. One thing I would like is that Wested have stronger sewing techniques.... My OTR has many areas where the thread is popping out. My jacket has just been worn normall...

No matter what, I think the tri-glides work best because they stay and because they keep the strap pointing to the back for accuracy....
