Re: Todd's 1917 S&W
OK. Yeah, I know it's been posted but it was a while ago and in other threads. This particular gun looks absolutely real and a cop would be justified in shooting someone if they ever waived it about. I still think the QM post should have a big warning for all (especially out of staters) about our su...

Re: Todd's 1917 S&W
WOW! I just saw this. Todd, very nice in getting these guns. I do not wish to be a wet blanket but I must point out something that folks my try. PLEASE CHECK YOUR STATE LAWS Here in California while legal to own a replica gun, it is very illegal to "brandish" it. Brandishing is a very subj...

Glycerin comes in bottles from 8 oz to 1 gallon from any drug store. It's a clear thick liquid that you can mix with distiled water. Use distiled water due to minerals and other containments in most waters. A 50/50 mix is a good start. Do a test, say a few tea spoons worth at first till you get the ...

I would say they are identical if not just a tad lighter in weight. You have to consider the sole/heal is thick leather and cork with a rubber heal tip. That is a lot of the weight. The leather is a tad.. and I do mean a tad thinner but still in the quality build side of things. I think they may wea...

I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8D. Tried them on today and they were too small. If there were an 8E that would fit better. The sizing may be off; ie the boots may read 8 but are a 7... not sure if they are using US sizing. On a very positive note, they are well built and look great  I put them u...

I had bought the Stetson Temple hat in 1984. Then in 2003, I upgraded to a PB and bought Aldens that same year. Now have the jacket, pants (Wested) and shirt (fan made) and three MKVIIs. Still working on the whip  I find that birthdays and Christmas were the best for Indy gear. :) Cheers, Jeff

Start with the on line. Then after a day or two call and or write them. It is importent that you have good measurments and an idea of which jacket you want, give them as much information as you can. Keep in contact with them during the prosess and things should work out fine. Peter and Gemma are gre...
