I had bought the Stetson Temple hat in 1984. Then in 2003, I upgraded to a PB and bought Aldens that same year. Now have the jacket, pants (Wested) and shirt (fan made) and three MKVIIs. I ware my boots every day. They're the only shoe/boot I own right now. I had a pair of Doc Marttins that lasted me ten years with major abuse. I'll end up buying a new pair of Aldens for when I go some place nice and ware the every day ones the rest of the time.

The goat I bought from Perter is butter soft and drapes just like the lamb. As for weight, I compared it to the lamb and it is a tad heaver but just. I have an old cow skin that feels like a lead weight compared to the goat. The more I wear my goat the more I love it.

Perhaps the extream scallop comes from pulling on the flap. Almost all the photos above show him sitting, climbing or "in action" Just standing the pocket flaps are where the should be.

Zip it up, put it in a laundry bag and throw it in the dryer. Set it on AIR/NO HEAT and tumble it for a few days. I did 8 cycles a day for 4 days. My goat loosed up nicely. It's not weathered but just looser and drapes better :tup:
