Yeah, that's what happens with D-Rings. Mine come off all the time on my US Wings.
If you'll notice in Last Crusade, Indy's straps are undone quite a bit, especially on the Tank. I don't think there's much you can do about it excepct secure them every once in a while.

Dang... I was ready to place my order for a Raiders Goat tomorrow morning. :( Oh well, a little delay won't hurt. I think this should be a testimate to Wested's quality control. They could have used the crappy leather and you might not have known, but good thing Peter sees the value in waiting and g...

Could be a Morgan or a Strain, or another vendor, not sure. Where'd you get these pics? Is this your whip? I wouldn't know what to look for to tell the difference, a lot of whips can look the same, but the knot at the end looks like it could be a Morgan (juding by the three plaits vs. only two). Tho...

I could be wrong, but I think he carried a 12 footer on his belt for looks, and cracked an 8 footer in the streets of Cairo scene. I thought he carried an 10 footer mostly and cracked an 8 footer, maybe 10 in some scenes. I know a 6 footer was used for the tank chase sequance in LC, but what you sa...

I really appreciate all the comments guys, it really is a great whip. :) It definitely is an easier whip to crack, though it takes some getting used to. And the natural hide is much better than my dark brown that I got my 6 footer in. Natural will take wear better than any other whip I have. I just ...

New Joe Strain 10 Footer!!!
I ordered a new 10 Footer Raiders whip from Joe a week ago, and yesterday it finally arrived! I couldn't be happier with it. I've lived with a 6 footer that Joe made for 4 years, and I never knew what I was missing with a 10 footer. I've spent all afternoon re-learning to crack my new whip, and it's...

About the reverse taper in the Cairo scenes: you can see while Indy is putting Sallah's children in the truck that there is a very distinct dent on the side of the hat, only visible from a certain angle. This could be one of the causes of the Reverse taper. Though I've found that pushing down on the...

I concure, a tightened ribbon is required. I'm not suggesting, it's the truth. It's a common fact that the character 'Fedora' in LC was actually Abner Ravenwood. :) ...Eh? When did this happen?
