It also helps to have a long oval shaped head. It's like pounding a round peg into a square hole....it's hard to get back out. Perhaps glue thin strips of rubber on the inside where it clamps to the table ot chair to reduce slippage.

Granite gray is indeed a warm gray, or as I like to call it, "earthy gray," which is the sort of gray that can be worn with browns and tans. I own one, and it can look rather tan in some light. But it is very much gray, not tan. Or brown. :[ I think Oak is right, though. The jacket behind...

Well, I finally pulled the trigger on a Penman, CS grey traveling hat. Can't wait. Sent John a pic of me with a tape wrapped around my head, gave him my hat size and guess what, I got a phone message saying that something didn't add up and that he'd send out those measuring tapes. Man what service....
