My New Penman Hat

Post by trdaggers »

Just Got it today. He does beautiful work. I gotta tell you finish to the rabbit fur is unbelievable! I compared it to my AB and I have to be honest with you, I like the finish of the fur much better on the Penaman. Also the hat box is a treasure in its own right. I'm going to his site now and order a gray travel hat. This hat was well worth the wait!!!!

Which version is that, Gailen?

I've seen that look before when I've taken photos of myself as well. :-k

The face you see is one wondering if the camera had actually gone off. ;)

Yes, it's classic around here. As well as the run to the bathroom to get a pic of myself o show everyone. :rolling: they crack me up. The other sho that cracks me up is showing the cardboard shipping box. again, very funny. I remember when I first starting shipping my hats in my hat boxes waiting for someon to post a pic of th hat box and for th longst got people showing the shipping box but not the hat box. :rolling:

That's awesome. I'm going to pull the trigger on a Penman soon. How did you manage to get it so perfectly bashed and "lived in"? Since it's a brand new hat, I mean. It just looks perfect on you. Like it's been on your head always.

Yeah, it's hard to be happy while taking a picture of yourself. I steamed the hat within 20 minutes of opening and got it the way I wanted.
