Over all on color in pics. You can never trust the color in pictures, the camera, the lighting, the white point setting etc. will all have drastic influence on the picture. Then there's the monitor you watch the image on and the operating system, Windows uses a gamma value of 2.2 and Apple uses 1.8 ...

You are correct about the aging process, it's a mix of Pecards, sun and usage thats darkens the leather.

In a very near future we will offer gun belts. Bag straps is still in the works, it's not easy to find good leather in the lengths needed for straps especially if the backside has to be smooth. We're working on it.

Denatured alcohol and acetone/lacquer thinner will take anything off the leather. I've used both to lighten leather over the years. The denatured alcohol is less potent than the acetone, so I would try that first. Sometimes the leather is a weird color under the dye so after you strip it down some ...

I'm not sure if we're going to offer belts with the whip holder attached. I would rather offer them as a set and then people can fix the holder to the belt if they desire. It's difficult to get the whip holder attached at the exact right spot. We're all different and the preferred place fir the whip...

That's two good looking pieces of gear you have there. Who made your whip?
The shoes will probably darken some over time, you don't have to use colored shoe polish. Use Pecard, it will condition the leather without coloring it to much.

I was right, only one whip design was made.
The reason for the round butt is not enough plastic in the mold.
In fact if you get whips with this flaw you should bring it to LEGO's attention.
