Re: Are there any gunsmiths in the house?
I have a Degree in Gun smithing I’ve never used it. With the way laws towards firearms can change at the drop of a hat it's a better hobbie than a full time career. That’s just my 2 cents that’s why I am going to law school.

Re: Stembridge Conversions
My gun smith is a funny old fart but I don’t think he would mind me taking photos of the conversion. The only thing holding me back right now is the barrel. I have the grips. the stembridg is an easy one all you do is notch the front sight off the front of the barrel then turn down the barrel to 4&q...

Just another reason to have measurements posted on a vendor's site, sigh. A friend of mine found the barrel for me and yes I was going to leave the front unfinished. I was going to have the grips made from the same guy who made the ones in the photo above. (if these photos are not ok to post please let me know and I will get rid of them) http://img222.imageshack.us/img222...

Be careful I dyed my Magnoli bag and it came out GREEN not olive but dark snot green. I had to wash and wash it then leave it in the sun just to bleach some of the color out of it. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/2032/img0190oq4.jpg http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/img0190oq4.jpg/1/w640.png htt...

A smith 1917 in 45ACP. I am going to cut down the barrel and do a raiders copy. Don’t know if I want to do the Bapty or the Stembridge conversion? http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/7707/s13xk2.jpg http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/s13xk2.jpg/1/w640.png http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/2927/s24ev...

I was at a local gun shop and found this it’s an Enfield MK1 .38. It was made in 1935 I thought It looked good and it was only 300$ instead of over a grand for the Webley green. It fits my holster great too  http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/7964/img0171na0.jpg http://img405.imageshack.us/img4...
