I have a Degree in Gun smithing I’ve never used it. With the way laws towards firearms can change at the drop of a hat it's a better hobbie than a full time career. That’s just my 2 cents that’s why I am going to law school.

When I got mine it was nasty. I washed it in the washing machine with detergent and once dry I spray painted it after the paint dried I washed again and it came out great

My gun smith is a funny old fart but I don’t think he would mind me taking photos of the conversion. The only thing holding me back right now is the barrel. I have the grips. the stembridg is an easy one all you do is notch the front sight off the front of the barrel then turn down the barrel to 4&q...

I thought they were two names for the same thing. Either way, I do want to make one, just don't know what to use to make it. I would assume that nylon thread would be best but how thich should it be? Well they sent me a return shipping label and they say that they will replace them we shall see. But it's very hard to box up my favorite shoes and send them back I am thinking I need to buy another pair.

A friend of mine found the barrel for me and yes I was going to leave the front unfinished. I was going to have the grips made from the same guy who made the ones in the photo above. I found the grips on gunbroker he is going to re solder the old site back on and cut it a bit and who know how much he is going to charge me some times it 50$ other times its 200$ he is old and funny like that

I was talking with my gunsmith about this conversion and he told me that he did a 2" barrel on one back in the 50's and re chamber it to hold 45 long colt's. He did this for a NYC detective. Now that’s some serous fire power

You can have class3 stuff in Californian but I don’t know how hard it is to get though. If you like guns then Arizona is the place for you ;-)

I am in Arizona no back ground checks especially if you have a CCW. Class3 stuff is very easy to get you just have to know how to go about it. If you need some more info pm me and I can walk you through it

I don’t have a class 3 license I just pay my 200$ tax stamp and about 10 weeks later I get a little piece of paper saying it's ok to have the class3 device and thank you

It’s about 25" give or take. I am top heavy my shoulders and chest are larger than most and it fits me good. Hope that helps

Be careful I dyed my Magnoli bag and it came out GREEN not olive but dark snot green. When I cut down the barrel it will be reblued as well so yes the rust will go away. These are the grips I have to put on it.

Found this today close enough

I was at a local gun shop and found this it’s an Enfield MK1 .38. It was made in 1935 I thought It looked good and it was only 300$ instead of over a grand for the Webley green.
