Nice work on interpreting the details, COW sleuths. If nothing else, this confirms a "screen-accurate" concealed carry option while in gear. :D I wish Lee Keppler were around for this revelation. Lee loved him some Indy guns and holsters. I can hear him now - "well, why wouldn't Indy ...

I know this is an older thread, but years ago I pored over Raiders whip screencaps versus actual whips and I could never confirm a 10-footer in any of the closeups. Re: Raiders of The Lost Ark screen used revolver - Bapty

On the Gear/ Guns page, when it’s describing Bapty, it supposes that it has had a barrel swap to a later, thinner barrel. I don’t think that’s correct. A Model of 1950 barrel wouldn’t have a .455 caliber mark on the side as the HE would; and, if you look carefully at the hi-res photos, you can see ...

I painstakingly mask the welt with blue painter's tape only because I use Alden's brown cream on the brick-colored 405s. It takes time, patience, precision and small pieces, but works perfectly if done right.

Out of the box, the 403's Chromexcel leather is much softer than the calfskin 405s, so yes, 405s feel way more supportive to me. While the 403s may be closer to 'Raiders accurate' in color, 405s can be darkened enough to match it. I sold my 403s simply because I felt they were too floppy. As soon as...
