On the Gear/ Guns page, when it’s describing Bapty, it supposes that it has had a barrel swap to a later, thinner barrel. I don’t think that’s correct. I painstakingly mask the welt with blue painter's tape only because I use Alden's brown cream on the brick-colored 405s. It takes time, patience, precision and small pieces, but works perfectly if done right.

The stitching darkened initially but then lightened up again once the excess polish was buffed away. The stitches don't retain the shoe cream's color as well as you'd think.
