Treating a Bill Kelso Merino Sheep Jacket
Just picked up a BK and was wondering about treating it. It's basically brand new, but just wanted protection from water and stains. I purchased Pecard's Leather Lotion and applied a little to the inside of the sleeve with a cloth. It darkened the leather but appeared to take a little dye off of it ...

Re: Which type of leather?!
I have the CE vintage cow and its been a great jacket. I've used Pecards and Obenaufs on it with terrific results. Definitely has the Crystal Skull look when treated. I know that is a little more on the expensive side, but well worth it in my opinion. Cowhide is definitely more durable, but lamb see...

Re: Color transfer to cloth and other leather from Nowak Jac
My thought was the Obenaufs as well, but it appears brown like the dye. The Obenaufs is slightly yellow at best. I love the jacket, just trying to figure a way to minimize the transfer. I've tried wiping it down with a dry cloth and even using leather cleaner.

Color transfer to cloth and other leather from Nowak Jacket?
Hi guys, I'm having a bit of trouble with my TNO ToD jacket transferring color to clothing and other leather. I noticed when wearing it with a light colored shirt it sometimes leaves stains around the areas touched by the collar. I've also had it stain the leather interior of my SUV. I remember read...

Re: Leathersoul Alden Vendor Offer
I have a pair of these of love 'em. They are by far the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I'd be interested to see the "special" options Tom mentioned.
Good luck on the order!

Re: Obenauf's Oil treated Nowak CS
Hi, Just recently treated my TNO ToD "Happy Cow" with Obenauf's products and I have to say I'm very pleased with the results. I was nervous going into it, especially once I started applying the oil. Darkened the leather to an almost black color! But I pushed on and it does lighten up after...

Thanks for digging that out John. I certainly sympathize with those that have been waiting such a long time for a hat. I don't know what else Steve can say really say or do. I'm sure he's doing the best he can and will make good on all his orders. Take care!

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
Guys, I know I haven't been around as long as many of you but I have to contribute a couple of cents. I ordered a hat from Mr. Delk back in May and received it in June. I couldn't have been happier with the communication or the end product. Thanks again Steve from Shane in Afghanistan! That said, ev...

You take care and enjoy that jacket!

Great looking jacket. I have a US Wings CE and it appears very similar to it.
What part of Afghanistan are you in? I'm currently at Camp Eggers in Kabul.
Take care!

Re: us wings vintage cowhide size choice
Hi,
I have a US Wings Collector's Edition in cowhide. I'm 6' 2" tall and weigh around 215 lbs with an athletic build as well. I ordered an XL and it fits me very well. Comparison would be the fit of the jacket in KOTCS.
Hope this helps and take care!

Awesome hat! I'm waiting on a Raiders AB now from Mr. Delk but I can definitely see one of these in my future!
Looks super on you too Croft.
Great work Mr. Penman.

Hi,
New to the forum. Just wanted to say I've really enjoyed reading the posts here on COW. I've learned a great deal from all of you guys.
Did we ever get the pics of Steve's new hat?
