Congratulations! That was a very good write-up. I suspect the wait time for your hats will increase a bit more after this article. I really need to get one of those hat stands ( and a Penman hat to go with it! ). Image

I hear that! We had state-wide testing yesterday, at least the essay writing portion of it. Talk about draining. I don't even feel like standing up to teach this week after all the hard hitting lessons and preparations. But, it's hump day and our own Bending Oak is in the paper. Looks like the five day forecast is projecting a nice weekend. :D

Not here. More storms and possible tornados in our forecast for Saturday into Sunday. Just what we need. This will be the 3rd weekend in a row.

Anyway, great news item, John.

I was speaking in the metaphoric sense, with beer and barbeque and generally not working, but it does look like our good weather will continue...with blistering highs in the upper 80s/lower 90s...It's technically still winter, ain't it? What I wouldn't give for some seasonal weather!

Great article!

It's wonderful to see someone doing something creative getting press for a change, instead of the constant barrage of negative "news".

I hope it brings you lots of well-deserved business!

Mixed feelings on that, flash. If he gets slammed with orders like Steve Delk did once news was printed about him and his shop, he had to raise his prices to slow down the orders. He is still trying to get his head above water, as he didn't foresee that tsunami of orders until it was too late.

I hope that doesn't occur for John, as notoriaty can definitely be a two edged sword.
