Yep, you guessed it, are any of you guys a ONE Indy jacket owner?
I mean, you have only ONE Indy jacket and you are totally satisfied with it, and would never think of owning another?
I can think of maybe two in the forum, (one is about to own two) but are there any more?
...I envy you!

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
Why would you do that?
There are 4 movies!!
P.s., I'm down to 2 jackets myself. And I really have no desire to buy anymore.
Well, maybe just a ToD, but, that's IT! I swear!

I am a two jacket man right now, but my 2003 Wested goat is everything I've ever wanted in an Indy jacket. I know I might be crowned Wishy-Washy King 2011, but I very well could be a one jacket man...

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
I'm down from 3 to 2:
1. Us Wings Import Legend
2. Wested Custom LC/Crystal Skull in Novapelle.
I love them both, but, I also like to be able to lift my arms, so the Legend gets most of the wear.

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
Well, it would seem that we are all after 1 jacket. But I wouldn't expect most people to have only 1 jacket considering this is a hobby and people want many jackets. It's just part of the fun.
I had one jacket, sold it. I was without a jacket for a while. I then bought a US Wings Legend but it's no longer in my possession because it was sent back. Assuming they come through with it and fix the pockets, then I"ll be back to having 1 jacket. And to be quite honest, I would have been perfectly content with only 1 jacket. Sure, I'd love a Magnoli and TN but I'm not anxious to get them.

I actually own one Indy jacket; my TN Raiders from 2 years ago. Sadly, I have another on order from TNO and its a Raiders jacket in a different leather, and slightly different measurements in lengths.

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
I aspire to be a one jacket owner, but I've been struggling to find that one jacket. So far I'm up to zero. I personally don't see such a big difference in the various jackets that would justify getting more than one - especially at the cost!
Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
An Indy fan with only one jacket??? I didn't know such a mythical creature existed!
After getting my 2 Nowaks I decided to get rid of all the rest of my jackets. Then I got the imported cowhide Legend jacket as a back-up to my Nowaks.

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
Yes! I still have my original and only Wested jacket which I bought on January 23rd 2003.
Company: Wested Leather
Style: Authentic brown Raiders lambskin
Features: Satin lining
Modifications (if any): None
Cost: Inexpensive
Quality: Very good
Durability: Extremely good after destressing with sandpaper
Appearance: Very rugged and Indy like
Hardware: Zipper, D-Rings.
Comfort/Fit: Very comfortable
Shortcomings (if any): None, except I originally thought that the sleeves were too long, but upon reflection, realise that they are perfect as they are.
Review: Loved the jacket when I first got it and still love it now. Am always receiving compliments about the jacket and the destressing that I have done on it. All in all, am very happy with it.
Overall Rating: 9/10
Here are some pics of the jacket:

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
Well, until about 3 days ago, I was a one Indy-jacket owner (my G&B Expo):
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=48537
But from all of the weight I've lost, it's been getting quite baggy on me now. So my wife surprised me with a Wings Cowhide Hero, which is just the right size:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=47398&p=734829#p734829
So, um, yeah, I've crossed the line into the jacket craziness...
Best wishes,
Nebraska Schulte

Get on down with it, Canyon!
I thought you were the one, NS! There may be more out there than expected?
Waiting for WW to chime in on his....the waiting continues...
I have a Wested in dark brown lamb that will remain with me because it is from the original maker. The USW Legend is also a keeper, as is the G&B....there goes my ONE jacket club membership.
...of course you know it would come to THIS...
...I mean, truely it is!

While technically not a ONE jacket owner, I do have my 'perfect' jacket, and I have absolutely no desire to ever buy another again.

Canyon, Mark, your jackets suit both of you perfectly!
I have often thought about reducing my collection to just one, but I'm hopeless. I've given a few to family and friends, but I'll always have a closet full of 'em.

That really is a sharp looking jacket, Mark! The guys at COW did a good deed! Not often, but occasionally they will surprise you...?
Say it ain't so, WW...?

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
Yep. My Wested novapelle CS. The only jacket that was spec-perfect straight out of the box. The moment you get that one 'perfect' piece of gear (fedora, bullwhip, jacket, etc.), you instinctively know that it's the absolute pinnacle, and everything else just pales in comparison. My whole outfit reached that stage several years ago, and I have my 'final gear'. Now I just wear and enjoy.

Only one for me so far. US Wings Collectors Edition cow hide. Still working to get it broken in.

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
I currently have only my light-brown, goat G&B. It took me several Wested's and another G&B before I was happy with what I have....that was a couple years back. The last year or so, I've been wanting to trade it in for a dark-brown lamb...
Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
Hi, I'm Dr. J and I'm a one Indy jacket man.
I love my Todd's Standard! What can I say? It has everything I want in a Raiders jacket for an incredibly affordable price! Not saying I'm not tempted from time to time but for now, I'm all set. By the way, beautiful jackets everyone!

Two Indy jackets...both US made Signature Series, one VIP cowhide, the other black goatskin. They look SO good, I wore one to a vegan potluck dinner, and no one objected

That dark goat is awesome!! On the Wested I just acquired, the color is soooooo perfect. The darkest dark brown I've ever seen in a leather. Perfect for a Raiders...in some lighting it looks positively black.

I only own one. A Wested washed goat that was a custom for Coronado3, but it just happened to fit me when he didn't want it any more.
Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
I can beat one, I have none.
I've got most everything else but I just can't decide on which jacket I want to eventually get and when I do, I plan on it being the only one.

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
I was a one jacket man from the spring of 2000 to just about a month ago. Wested Raiders in pre-distressed cow was all I needed in an Indy jacket. Then the Legend patterns were introduced and I was tempted, but not really sold. Then the Bison hide...and that was that.
Oh, and, Luke, I thought some of your recent pictures looked like you've slimmed down - good for you! Keep up the good work.

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
I too only have a US Wings CE, and I really dont foresee myself getting another jacket. The jacket is just everything I need, it would be nice to have a custom someday, but I'll probably wait until I destroy this one. That might be hard, seeing how well it has held up in the past years, and I dont baby the thing either.
Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
only one (for now)
2005/2006 wested lamb in dark brown.
the color of this one is, imho, very s.a. the details, not so s.a.
i'm seriously considering aquiring a todd's standard soon.

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?
When I got into the gear collecting almost three years ago I never thought I would own multiple pieces of gear other than pants, boots, or web belts. I acquired all the basic pieces of gear in a short period of time between the spring and summer of 2008. I started with an OTR Wested in seal brown lamb. I ordered it to small, sold it in the Bazzar, reordered a custom Wested in novapelle. I then added a Todd's costume jacket and thought I was set, I had my Todd's jacket for the slightly warmer times of year and my heavier Wested for the colder months.
I now own five jackets and don't know what to do with all of them. I only have two I wear regulary anymore, both US Wings jackets. Heck, even my seven year old son has TWO jackets.

One thing you can say about being a one jacket/hat/whatever man...You don't have to think about which one you're going to grab!!!!

Here's some pics of my G&B. The pic itself is a couple years old, but the jacket looks almost the exact same.

I have one jacket that I bought second hand. I dont know who made it, and its not SA to any one Indy movie. But its got all the proper basic features, so its SR, though, and I like it.

I used to only have one Indy jacket-a distressed cowhide Expedition. I've got two right this minute-a goatskin Expo and the bison Legend...
But I PREFER just having one....
So, there may be some changes made here before too long...
