I have one of the Akubra Adventurers from David Morgan. It is a great hat even though it is not IJ accurate. It is soft enough to crease or bash dry, yet holds it shape well.

I have a US Wings USA made Cowhide I picked up from a member here, It is heavy but durable. Even though it is about 3rd hand it is a great jacket. Watch the Cairo Bazaar here, an excellent one pops up from time to time. :TOH:

I've used Aquanet unscented extra super hold hair spray on a panama and some cloth hats, and it works great with no residue. However, I've not used it on felt yet. I was told at a western hat store, here in Las Vegas, that the stiffener they use smells just like the hair spray and that they recommen...

I also have long arms, I buy them in the long size and have had no issues with the sleeves becoming to short. They do shrink up a little, but Cabelas I believe takes that into consideration. For anyone with a Large, whats the post washing sleeve length? My buggest concern is shrinkage in the sleeves...

I do doubt that gasoline in 1917 had any additives in it. It was probably more akin to white gas today.
