That may be just it. Seeing the movie twice I noticed the backpack is not only smaller, but the flap is also shorter than the modern German Alpine. You pack looks pretty close if not dead on.

My fieldmaster, raiders bashed, is my casual wear hat. Because my Fed IV is darker and seems a tad smaller and is 100% rabbit felt, I wear it with suits or dress shoes, a little more formal, hence the LC bash.

As far as weaponry goes, I'm much more attracted to swords and rifles. I can vouche for that. Have classic Bear bow with a leather quiver and a Windlass Steel Ranger Sword. I've thought about getting a 45 Mag Revolver but that would take a bite out of my $$, especially if it's just gonna sit there.

I recently changed my handling method and I find it to be second nature for me.
When Talking the hat off, I grab it by the brim. When putting it on, I cup the pinch area in the palm of my hand, therefore NOT pinching it, and scoop the hat onto my head then adjust it by the brim.

Strones, that is a fine lid indeed. The color does seem a different shade of brown, but it almost looks lighter than the fed III. I Like the new ribbon :D
