Hey Gang,
Bought this bag via Rabbittooth's pics and recommendations. I must say I like the bag but I would like to change the fabric strap to one of the leather ones offered by either Magnoli or Lee. The problem is that the original strap is sewn into the bag itself, and the strap pieces are plastic, as you can see. Now I figured I can take it to a tailor and they can do something but I'm sure that wouldn't be the only thing needed. Anyone have some suggestions??
Thanks Guys!!

I'd say use the strap to make loops like on a Mk VII bag, add O-rings before closing them and then you can add whatever strap you'd like.
The original strap for the Mk VII is actually the same material as the O-ring holders and people have used the original strap as spare material to fix broken ones.
Just find some good shots of what the holders/loops look like on a Mk VII and I'm sure your tailor could set you up.
That's my idea.
