One other thing, I also own an Akubra. And while it's a fine hat that I'm glad to have, it's simply a different beast than an AB or one from Art.

Love the new liner, Steve. Having it embroidered is a super nice touch with a great nod to the days of old.

My hope was to get the old liner in my first hat (got it) and the new liner in my Traveler Gray. Sounds like my plan is working!

Well, my point was he had ~200 orders total represented by 22 orders from COW members, so a representative sampling of ~10%. If that sampling holds, then he would have the same number of orders July-October 2007 as he did in June '07 alone (ie, ~200). So if that is true and if he continues his same ...

That's a beauty. Punti size 4 1/2 = US 7 (56). Having the Feather Weight is nice. If you want it to hold a bash spritz it with a little distilled water, crease and let dry. It might be fun just to let it ride, though.

Does it fit?

Congrats!

Probable unpopular opinion:

Honestly, with the current ebay atmosphere in light of the new movie I'd be awfully tempted to throw it on ebay with an absurdly high opening bid/reserve and see what happened. You can't wear it at that size and I (personally) wouldn't want to alter it. You could sell it and order an AB.

Custom hats are not made to standard sizes because they're, well, custom. That's why Steve has you give him a measurement and Art Fawcett actually sends a halo conformer to you for sizing.
