Re: Trouser advice

I appreciate the information. I know that I definitely want to go with wool. I just don't know if I want to try the Wested trousers or WPG. Thanks again for your time and help.

Trouser advice

Hello, I need some advice regarding which trousers to purchase. I don't want to purchase a custom made pair. I prefer the Raiders color. Which ones are screen accurate? Well made? The most durable for daily wear? Opinions please. Thank you.

US Wings web belts are great!!!

Just received my US Wings khaki web belts and I must say these are the best quality I have ever seen. The belts and solid brass buckles are made to military specs here in the US. If you want the real deal then get a Wings belt, and they are only $7.95!!!!! They don't have them in dark brown, but if ...

I recently purchased two, and I love mine. I have never seen one of the older ones, but mine does not have the box pleates and they are made of light weight cotton. I think the color is spot on. They do run a little large in size. I usually need an XL, but the large fits me fine. I wash mine in cold...

That's what I'm thinking because I have searched a lot different sites and can't find anything except the ones we can get from the vendors here. Perhaps some of our military historians could shed some light on this.

Military Spec Brown Web Belts?

I know there are several vendors here who sell the brown web belts. But, does anyone know where you can find them that are heavy duty or made to military spec's rather than the light weight costume type? Thanks.

I have bought several over the years on e-bay. In regards to price, I've seen them go for as little as $50.00 and a high as $200.00 USD. I believe around $100.00 is reasonable for one in very good condition.

I finally got around to ordering a Nowak jacket. Haven't sent in any measurements yet and need advice about the jacket length. I am 6'.0" tall and the back length on my favorite Wested is 27 1/2" and it still isn't long enough for my taste. The CS jacket looks longer than the other jackets...

These two sites, operate very similar to e-bay. You will need to register, just as you would for e-bay, the difference being that you must hold a valid Federal Firearms License, in order for them to ship the gun directly to you. If you do not, that is not a problem. Most FFL holders, will receive sh...

If anyone is interested, there are currently several 1917 S&W's, 1917 Colts, and one MarkVI Webley in great condition up for auction at AuctionArms.com. You may also want to checkout Gunbroker.com, as they also have these from time to time. Maybe this will help someone out.
