Don't forget jeans also come in other colors. I often wear a fedora with jeans (when I'm not in a suit) but I rarely go out of the house in blue jeans anymore, I prefer black, brown or gray jeans.

Fedora is right, it could be a bit taller. You can get a Bushman without eyelet vents and with the nice grosgrain ribbon (standard on Australian models) from Hats Direct if you ask for one. Takes a little longer, but the price is the same. Right now (April) is supposed to be the best time to ask for special orders like this.

Is the bushman on the Hats direct site? i cant seem to find it anywhere. :-k Nope, it's not on their web site, and you have to ask for it by name. That's the amazing thing about HatsDirect, they can get you any Akubra you want direct from the factory, and with little modifications if you need them....

I've never been a fan of that tight, emaciated Raiders pinch. It's not very aesthetic, and can't be good for the felt in the long run. Now Abner's pinch is different; nice and healthy -- and subtle.

BTW the pinch in my avatar may appear tight, but it's at least one finger wide.
