I was watching some behind the scenes footage of the Da Vinci code on the news and saw that Ron Howard was wearing an Indy style hat, anyone else seen this?

Well it's a lot better than all those "trucker caps" he usually wears...

Since the center dent is definitely off center, I guess he even turns his baseball caps.

I am particularly fond of the way his long oval head is distorting the brim. And there is something strange going on with the top of the crown. An indentation of sorts. Now, I know caps do not come stock with the indentation and we need some top guys to research this facet to get down to the real truth and nitty gritty of that cap. It is not just an off the shelf baseball cap. It has been modified heavily. There is just no way in the world an off the shelf cap can look that way without something being done to it. We need pics from different angles and a good photoshop user to do some serious comparisons. I think that cap may be taller than regular caps. So, please do a measuement as well. Back to the brim. Is a slight turn causing the brim to dip down on the left side?. I dunno, but my money says that brim or visor was removed, then cap was turned and then the brim was sewn back on the turned cap. Oh, the emblem as well. I am sure we will get to the bottom of this soon. Fedora

I actually own one of those caps. It's the one I wear when I fly. The dent in the crown is not standard. When worn properly it's a very close fitting cap, conforms to the head. Size adjustment on the back is with velcro, which sticks to the headrest on my lazyboy
. 100% cotton. It's made by Dax Wilkinson, a Canadian company.

Ron Howard has worn every hate ever made, never takes them off. Just puts the new one over the old ones. Probably even showers will them.

Maybe it's a bald guy thing. I heard hats cause baldness, but I say baldness causes hats.

Showers with hats.
Wasn't that a Kevin Costner movie?

Wasn't that one of Yoda's lines in a SW/Indy clone movie?

Now, what I want to know is, did he staple it to his head to keep it in place?
Cheers!
