Hey where did you get that photo of me??? ;) Actually I don't have anyone to take a photo of me right now and I'm not doing one in front of a mirror, so it will have to wait. Sorry ](*,) Mike http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=47463 Here is a post I made a couple of years ago with a pho...
I received my EXPLORADOR '57 -Crystal Skull from Diego just a few days ago and I love it. I've had a few lids in my time and this one is really EXCELLENT. Good fit, GREAT look, and VERY,very well made. Really Top notch work! :TOH: Plus the entire time it was being made, I got timely updates from Die...
Since I live very near S.F., that's where I went. Great service and I too walked out the door with my shoes tucked under my arm. It was so long ago, I don't really remember what I paid though.
I've always had problems slipping a gun into an inside jacket pocket. The jacket would sag to one side, especially if the gun was large. Obviously it wasn't as big a problem with a smaller gun. Plus the wear and tear on the pocket can just ruin a nice jacket. Anyhow this is the back of the concealed...
LOL... You guys are brutal Ok, I'm going to some fight event (StikeForce) tonight with my son. I'll wear the jacket and try to get a couple of pictures.
Well, like I said... It's not so much a post about the Wested, which couldn't fit me better... It's a post about trust and working things out between to guys here on the forum.
I've had a variety of Indy type leather jackets and never got one that fit me right. I started with a U.S. Wings, then a Gibson & Barnes, then a custom fit by Tony Novack. None of them fit me right. I never bothered to order a Wested because I had heard that their sizing was different and I thou...
I thought Ebay had everything, but I didn't see any sizing tape there. I might not have searched well enough I suppose. I only need a small amount for one hat and I was wondering if anyone here would be kind enough to see me a little bit. I'm in California.
What I liked about this episode was it taught a lesson. Don't be a fool and buy something from someone, taking their word for it that it was a genuine movie prop. Always get documentation. As obvious as it seems, an awful lot of people don't know that.
There is something about having a hat made for you, giving input about ribbon color, etc and then putting it on when it's complete. Yup... It's a very nice feeling.
At least you're only dealing with one hat. All of my hats are now too big for me. Granted that I only have 6 hats, but each one is simply too big/loose now. I've tried sizing tape and it helped on a couple of my hats, but not all of them. They just don't fit right anymore. let me get this st...

Good luck gathering up all your stuff. I hope you don't wind up selling it off in under a year like so many others seem to do. Take your time and be sure what you order is what you want.
Did a little digging, and found somewhat of an annoucement of the 2 new Alden Indy boots coming soon. http://blog.leffot.com/2009/09/29/three-little-indy-ans/ The one that we will all more then likely want, is now the 403 from Alden. Check them out, they even have an Indy boot in a nicer dark brown...
