My rule of thumb is the Indy Jackets need to be a couple inches below the belt. Modern jeans and most pants sit way lower than the pants guys wore back in the day.

The Wested shirt in 2XL is too short for me. The WPG in a XL-L fits great. I do take them to the cleaners as severe wrinkles are not my thing...…... ;)

I am 6 feet 4 inches and the 2XL regular was plenty long in the sleeves and extra in the body length. Wore it a good bit last winter but gave it and the russet USW to a friend a couple weeks ago. The G&B to me is a more substantial jacket. Leather feels thicker on the G&B. The US Wings leather reminds me more of Fall/Spring jacket that needs more layering in colder weather. I actually washed and dried both my G&B goat and lamb expeditions to bring out the grain with no ill effect...

For custom Raider jackets, I always get them fitted like a sports coat fit in the chest. Off the rack, I end up ordering my sport coat size or one up for a looser fit. I have had and still have many Indy jackets from many makers.

I have to say, I like my S&J jackets more than another maker that costs more. S&J gets the fit better than any other Indy Jackets I own.

It's a tool. A covering for the head to keep the sun off in summer, and head warm in winter. It keeps the rain and snow off my noggin. I use Pecards on my leather boots instead of any shoe cream or polish. Have many pairs and never had any issues. Sometimes use mink oil as well. Just depends on what I grab at the time. I had the previous version in a 2XL and the length was fine but too snug in the upper arms and chest. Have had a couple of the legend jackets fit me in 2XL but this one did not.

I vote for no turn. I get the reason people want it but I do not go all out Indy costume. Just like the hats, jackets and boots. To be honest, do not like the tight front pinch on the Raiders fedora either and usually wear the other movie styles. :CR:

Could you take the measurement of the back length on your jacket? The back length on both jackets in 2XL is slightly over 28 inches. 28.25 (28 1/4).
