I ordered a ToD on Dec 21. Finally received an email from them 4 weeks after I sent one to them. They said they would ship in about two weeks, yet it's been 4 weeks since and no word. I'd say safe bets are 6 months turn around or so but we'll see

I own 3 Advintage hats, and every single one of them comes to me larger than my head. Not significantly so however, and I just put some cork in them, and in time they shrink due to oils, sweat, etc on the headband. My Penman hat is the one that has shrank the least and honestly still is a bit large ...

They look great on you! What's to big?

Advintage, and every other hat I own always gets a bit more snug as they are worn, as you sweat, etc. It will fit in time unless it's grossly to large.

Advintage is my favorite among all the makers, and I own one of each for the most part.

I'll say this about the weather....I wear mine no matter what the weather. Hence the salt sweat stains on my Penman beaver. If I was going to be outside all day in the Florida heat, where I live, perhaps I'd reconsider however. Dang state is HOT

Medium is the way I go with them. I own one of their hats, a ToD model, and have just placed an order for another one. Medium is floppy enough that it's not like a rock, and soft won't hold it's shape well from what he told me.

Sorry brother, my S&J Temple is a 38 at best, and I shrank it further when I showered it. I wear a 40 normally, but I wanted one that had the tightness of the village scene at the end.

My second Indy jacket was a ToD from S&J. Still my favorite by far. At this point I only own one from Wested, and S&J. Can't beat it in my opinion, at least when it comes to ToD. I can't speak for the other makers.

When placing the order with Wested I did inquire as to whether it was possible to have the screen-accurate vents but, sadly, they told me it wasn't something they could offer. Regardless on the color, I'm glad I got black liner. LOL.

My jacket was made about 1.5 yeats ago I believe. Holt and I had a lot of discussion on the vent and Wested still didn't do it. They did offer to redo the jacket with correct vent but I never sent it back.
