Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?

Hey, this jacket seems to fit you perfectly! One question, did you have to size down when you bought this jacket? :-k Nope. I usually wear a 40R suit jacket and went with a 40R G&B. They may have made it so you get a wee bit more room, but I don't think I can wear a 38R without feeling like the...

Here's some pics of my G&B. The pic itself is a couple years old, but the jacket looks almost the exact same.

Re: so...any ONE jacket owners out there?

I currently have only my light-brown, goat G&B. It took me several Wested's and another G&B before I was happy with what I have....that was a couple years back. The last year or so, I've been wanting to trade it in for a dark-brown lamb...

I sent emails to both Aldenshop.com and theshoemart.com and both have not responded. I even tried calling shoemart and the number wasn't in service(?).

The nylon makes the jacket feel wonderful. I forget the name of the lining (something twil), but it's like a combintion of cotton and nylon. The look smooth on/off of nylon, but breathes better than cotton. EDIT: I just re-read another post of yours and it looks like you are an owner of a G&B. D...

From my experience (I've gone through a number of Wested's, but only one G&B) the Wested uses buttery soft lambskin. The G&B feels like it's in between a Wested Lamb and a Wested Goat in softness/toughness.

I usually wear a 44R suit, but sometimes wear my 42R. For my G&B, I got a 44R and it fits great. So a 48R would be way too big for you.

You probably confused them by saying your current jacket is 24". If a Wested measures 24" from armpit to armpit, it means it's a 48R jacket.
