H.Ford jacket size in Raiders of the Lost Ark?

does anyone know the size of Harrison Ford jacket in Raiders.
Could it be that it is 42?

I've always been told 40 Regular.

Perhaps _ could chime in - was it something that was confirmed during all your re-write of the jackets history?

However, I'd take that with a grain of salt, since according to those Kenner action figures, Han Solo is 185cm (6'1) tall. Also, according to www.celebheights.com, Ford is currently around 182cm tall (5'11). Not to mention that Ford's statue in Madame Tussaud's is certainly taller than 5'11, if wax statues are anything to go by!

Either way, the majority seem to be disagree that Ford is 5'9.

And yet, as I've said before - watch Ford in varous movies and see how many supporting actors are taller than he is.

Ford came to Melbourne to launch a film. He appeared to be slightly over 6 feet tall.

Should we count Chewbacca?

Noel Howard is quite a tall guy, well over six feet. Perhaps he overestimated how much shorter Ford was compared to himself. 5'9 1/2 does sound a bit too short to me, although it sits well with the 40" chest theory.

There's no way Harrison Ford was 5'9" when he filmed any of the Indy movies. Here's a photo of him next to a guy who reports his own size as 5'8":

I doubt the height stat. I stand at around 5'10 and match all the rest of the stats listed above and there is no way I look as fit as Ford did in Raiders.

I'm just over 6'1" and I fit all of Ford's stats except shoe size and a little bit of extra weight around the waist.

For those who might not have read it, your link states that Harrison Ford's height is currently 5 ft 11.75 in (182 cm) and he used to be 6 ft 1 in (185 cm) in his younger days. That sounds about right to me, but I'm no expert on his height.
