Re: Post your AdVintage here!
Ark101, You won't be disappointed with Advintage! Thomas makes some, if not, the best hats at the moment! The felt quality is amazing. I have an amazing Crusader from him in Beaver with map liner in true sable, as well as CS Hero (which is my holy grail in Indy hats now) and couldn't be happier. I a...

Re: The Penman post 'em up Pages....The Adventure Continues...
I was able to stop in with my son and see John at his shop in the first week of April. I was in town for a wedding and brought him an AB KOTCS for reblocking. I really enjoyed my time with him talking shop and seeing him in his element. At the time he let me know he was waiting on some materials bu...

Beautiful hat and loving the box too. I have a CS Hero on order from Thomas myself, the waiting part is the worse :? but his hats are so worth it. I'm eager to see more pictures of yours, especially the inside with the liner... :CR: Does yours have a logo on it? I've asked for mine to be without, ju...

Re: My AdVintage arrived... and is immediately going back
Sorry for the disappointment but I'm sure Thomas will make the new hat to the perfect size. I too recently purchased an Advantage LC in beaver. size 59.7 too actually (that is pretty average size it seems ;) ) and it also felt quit snug when I put on the first time. I got a hat stretcher and stretch...

Gorgeous hat APL!!!
John is truly an artist
I have the privileged of owning a CS fedora from him myself, still have to post pics of it though
will do that soon!
I could not imagine myself anymore buying a lid from someone else than John!
Best regards

mcmanm,
I was wondering the same thing, quite interested in getting a F&G before the summer but the hat section seems to have dissapeared on his site...
Can't find any prices either...
It would be great to know if Dusty is still offering the F&G.
