Pics of my hats

Post by j2m »

Hi everyone,
I felt like playing with the camera today and thought it would be nice to share a few pics of my hats.
The link below brings you to the album.
The first hat is a Henry I got a year ago, it was originally bashed in a CS style but about a month ago I decided it didn't look right like that way and started working on it. I unbashed it and then gave it a Raiders look. I'm pretty happy with the look it has now. The Henry is really made for a Raiders bash IMO.
The dust on it is natural by the way :whip: the hat came on a few hikes, camping trips and travels in the last year and has built a very nice character of its own.

The second hat in the album is an Advintage I got just a month ago. It is a handmade 100% beaver Kingdom Fedora from Advintage in Germany. beautiful hat!!! and I think it captures the CS spirit quite nicely.

I also put the 2 hats together at the end of the album as well as a pic of the liner of the advintage.

Hope you enjoy it, who gets tired of looking at hats pics right? ;)
Let me know what you think of the Raiders bash on the Henry...

Oh yeah! That is perfect! Just knocks me out! Love that hat. Funny the KOTC style was my least favorite for a long time, but as time as grown on me (literally and figuratively) it is now my all time favorite fedora. Coming in second would be a Casablanca style Bogart. Just got to love 'um! W>

Thank you so so much for the kind words guys :notworthy: really appreciated :TOH:

I am more than happy with those hats. KOTCS is my favourite bash out of the movies but Raiders comes in a very close second, so when I got my Advintage a month ago, I looked at my Henry bashed in CS style, here's some pics of how it looked before, a year ago nearly brand new:

and then decided to go nuts on it and give it the Raiders look :whip:
I am more than happy how they both came up!
The Advintage has been covered in snow and rain in the last month, being winter here, and still looks as I just got it out of the box. Its a fantastic hat and it nails the Kingdom look IMO.
The Henry will be more my summer hat as it is much lighter to wear when its hot.
I now have to convince myself that I do not need anymore hats... hardest thing to do in this hobby :P

Best regards and thank you for looking :TOH:
