Just wondering... Why not an Akubra? The Fed IV is in the same continent and is regarded as a much better hat than the Christy's.
Or are you planning to do an experiment with the hat?

I've got 2 Fed III's, 4 Fed IVs, 4 Campdrafts and a Stylemaster...(with an Akubra Bogart and Homburg on the way)..so I've given'em a fair run so far
Just wanted to see what a Christys was like, and the price at Advintage appealed to me, but they don't have my size..
(Top Secret's 75 pounds seem a bit exie to me)

Man oh man- Your own Nations' offerings are so awesome- I'd never consider a Christy's... nope.
I own both- and don't get me wrong I REALLY LIKE my Christy's. But I got it when the pound sterling was weak... yadda, yadda.
In the land of Akubra... I'd keep on the eye for a good Christy's here or on th' 'bay. But if you already own a Fed, you will be underwhelmed with a Christy's, IMHO.
