You can also purchase 405s and other Indy boot variations through the Alden of Madsion and Alden of Carmel shops. Both are great places to do business with. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that there was a story circulating awhile back (back in the heyday of Indyfan) that Steven Spielberg personally bought the MkVII's for Raiders at Sentimental Journey in England. So, with the exception of the repro that I bought from WPG, all mine are from SJ.

I think that, at least with a DM because I can't comment on any others as I've never held one, if someone gets too close to use the whip properly, you can just bash them over the head with the handle of the whip. I think that would get the guys attention.
