Well, at least if you see someone walking around town with an all too familiar, very distinctive lid on, you'll know who did it!

Pop him one in the mouth and demand it back!

It's a shame I just shelled out for a new gun not too long ago (a cz 82, very nice surplus piece) and already own a .357 wheel gun, or else I would try to talk the girlfriend into letting me buy it

I appreciate the help guys. The brim does have some weird little bends in it, not exactly sure how those got there, but I'll definitely give the steam a shot!

Pics of my Fed I, and a poll...

Greetings all! It's been quite a long time since I've frequented these forums, and it seems KotCS has brought me out of the woodwork. I decided to reintroduce myself and share with you my most beloved piece of Indy Gear, my Fed. And, it should be noted that this is (I believe) one of the first gener...

Fantastic info! I never knew that much history behind the Webley.
However, few Americans know that before December 7, 1940, the United States was strictly neutral and isolationist.

Just a slight correction, Pearl Harbor was '41

Alright, thank you for the kind and sound advice folks. By the looks of it, I'm gonna have to get myself down to get measured somewhere! I wanna make sure I have a nice, comfortable jacket that will last the ages(The jacket I had in high school wasn't so fortunate).

Thanks again!

Oh, don't worry about about the sweaters and stuff, I live in Phoenix! "Sweater" is what we usually refer to the locals as. And the reason I was asking such questions is, is that I don't know the first thing about custom garment manufacturing, so I wouldn't know where to add an inch or sub...

Comfort Questions

Well, now that I might have the money, I think I'm gonna get me a Wested this year. So, I have a few comfort issues I was hoping some of you proud owners could clear up. 1) Without any mods, is the standard Raiders jacket pretty comfortable, fit wise? Can you move around in it pretty well? Can you c...

I'm not too sure about the term "demilled." Does this mean that they no longer have a rifle bore, or are they just plain plugged?

Original replica German WWII P-08 Luger metal prop pistol, a full weight model carried by one of Nazis in the film sold in fine condition in December 1990 for $666
I find that one mildly ironic.

Come to think of it, I don't know why my uncle ever kept the old thing! He wasn't much of an Indy Fan. Oh well, it's now part of my collection, I guess.

New aquisition

Through inheritance, I recieved quite an interesting gift. My uncle passed away a few months ago and as we were cleaning out his rat's nest of a trailer, we discovered he had a cahce of guns. One of these guns was a small revolver that immediately caught my attention. I examined it on Turkey Day, an...

I have a similar jacket made by Cherokee that's black leather and not suede, looks quite like Indy's, and I got it for 100 bucks. I've had it for almost 2 years now. These serve quite well, even though I've beaten the living heck out of mine. Of course, that's not necessarily a bad thing, seeing as ...

Yep, J & G sales, Prescott, Arizona.

They are some mighty swell folks up there. I purchased my first rifle from them on my 18th birthday (a Yugo SKS), and it, as well as J&G, have served me well ever since. I recommend everyone should deal with them, even if you're not in the same state.

Local Gun Store sells Indy-ish gun?

Well, I seem to have found something pretty cool. My local gun store, J & G Sales, is selling what appears to be a pretty good looking Indy gun. It's a model 10 S & W, and though it's only .38 Special caliber, I think if you slap a wood grip instead of a rubber one on there, it would make a ...

I'd say, if I were to go on an Indy adventure, I'd pack a 1911. I think the fact that the US Army used it in service for so many years stands testiment to it's reliability. Not to mention the knock-down power the .45ACP cartirdge has. I think that would be my choice. http://www.springfield-armory.co...

Ebay whips, worth the time?

Well, I'm planning ahead for Halloween this year, since last year's excursion was thrown-together-patchwork at best ( I was Dr. Evil, complete with shaved head). I've had mine for a while now, which I recieved second hand, and it's still pretty straight. From the stories of the previous owner, the sucker got a pretty good wearing in, so in my opinion these are some pretty resiliant hats.
