S&W Airsoft gun

Post by Indiana Texas-girl »

Not knowing much about guns but recognizing the name Smith and Wesson, I saw this item. I know it's not Indy 100% accurate, but some of y'all might be able to use it. I asked Michaelson if it'd fit into a Keppler holster, and he gave me the affirmative although it needs different grips and the sightings are accurate. Enjoy and if anyone ends up getting it, please post a report. But I'm not sure if you'd want to order the 4" or 6" model to fit in a Keppler holster. Anyone know?

Darn

You know, funny thing is, is my work sells other airsoft guns(of the semi-auto looking variety) and I would have bought a holster had I known these existed!

Oh well, that's life.

I have one of those in my holster. The grips aren't really made to come off. When you do get the grips of you will find that there is no frame to mount the new grips to. Instead you will find the inner workings to the spring mechanism that allow the gun to shoot the 6mm BB. I couldn't figure out how to change to more Indy accurate grips so I just left the gun the way it came.

Right now, I haven't any pictures, but I bought this gun some months ago. I wasn't pleased with the accuracy, reliability or distance while shooting the actual BB's, so it underwent plastic surgery. I made some walnut grips, and checker'd them. They were a bit oversized, and not entirely to my liking, so I pulled/cut them off and am in the process of fashioning some new ones. I am using the pictures Sergei posted of his 1917 mod as a guide.

I'll provide more info when I get it done and can get some pics up. That's kinda on the back burner right now, though. In the "off" time, I am working on a re-build of an old bomber jacket of mine; down-sizing for 6 yr. Cabinetgirl, and of course, turning it into an Indy. But that's for another forum. Got to be done with that for trick-or-treat.

Stay tuned...

I think that airsoft S&W is the one similar to T.J. Hooker's revolver.

Wasn't that a 357 magnum S and W?
