I generally use a single bb-loaded strand of sinker cord and build my tapers by adding a couple of other pieces of regular paracord for the core. Also, the bb's only run about half the length of the whip so the whip will also taper as I drop more strands.

I mainly play around in my front yard. I think I prefer grass surfaces, it they aren't damp (although nylon whips do make a nice mist spray on the crack when the grass is wet). Nice job Mcfly I still don't like tying those darn turks heads. The rolling definitely smoothed it out some. I can't believe you did it with a paperclip! A jumbo sewing needle definitely makes it easier. Keep it up.

I like wearing my fedora with a hoodie, 8) but I have also found that I tend to think about dressing up a bit more when I wear it. (And for me, "dressing up a bit more" means wearing a button-down shirt or polo with my jeans or casual pants) :D If I have to wait to "really" dress...

Yes, I agree - Whip Basics Vol. 1. Robby will walk you through a basic four-crack routine that is quite Indyesque. It's pretty short but will get the job done.

It'll be fine - I wouldn't put any kind of chemical on it. Just let it dry out naturally, the virus will die on its own. Even if you did cough in it, don't stress over it. Glad you're feeling better.
