Just ordered a purewhips Indy natural!!!

Post by Vaderbreath »

After emailing a bit with Gus, I decided to upgrade my order from the budget whip to his Indy natural bullwhip. Now I get to patiently wait. I started with a jrzjoe (which I whipped his strange fall attachment right off), then moved to an olde-tyme whip (at least I believe that was the name of the ebayer) which is actually decent, and now I'll have a whip from Gus. I just love the natural tan look, and my olde-tyme is more kotcs in color so I'll have a nice younger Indy and older Indy look!

I think you made a great decision. My natural 8 ft. 12 plait Caicedo has aged beautifully. That is the best thing about the natural hide.

I've had a jrzjoe as well. Throw it away. I love my whip now. Gus's whips are great!

Yeah, my jrzjoe is just a filler now. I cracked it one day so hard the weird fall attachment piece he put on there just disintegrated. My olde-tyme stuff whip is decent, but I can't wait to try out Gus's.

I think you'll be thrilled with your new "Gus." I had a jrzjoe as well - absolute junk!!! I have a budget purewhips and there is no comparison. There is no way to subsitute for a quality whipmaker.

Happy cracking, :whip:

When the same rout myself. Gus is a great guy to deal with. Joe, "jrzjoe", does have a reasonable price on Pecard Leather Dressing...... :?

Yeah, about the only good thing about jrzjoe's whips is that they come with pecards!
