I dyed my Wested ToD lamb jacket darker. I just diluted black leather dye with water and applied it with a sponge. It darkened the jacket considerably.

It's not a complete re-dye though just darkening it. What result are you after?

The one I bought 1½ years ago, had a more yellowish tone to it. I didn't care much for the colour that showed through when I distressed it, so I just rubbed brown shoepolish on it and it looks perfect now. The distressed areas just soaked it up.

I did it too, and I'm in no way an expert on that stuff. It was pretty easy, just look at how the original bow was constructed and do the same

Must admit though that I did use a small amount of crazy glue to get it right.
